Wireless sounder beacon questions
What is a wireless standalone sounder beacon?
It is an audible and visual notification device that can provide local warning and use a documented wireless path for event reporting or linked activation. The exact architecture must be confirmed for the ordered SKU.
What evidence should be reviewed before purchase?
Review the current controlled manual, exact SKU or BOM, radio documents, power details, compatibility record and destination-market requirements. Request model-matched evidence rather than relying on a family name.
Which wireless versions are documented?
A separate manual documents the 433 MHz configuration, while the 4G manual and China regulatory records document an identified cellular configuration. LoRa appears in commissioned test records, but exact hardware, protocol and market evidence still require SKU/BOM confirmation.
Do the China approvals prove CE, FCC, UL or global market approval?
No. The documented radio type approval and telecom network trial approval apply within their stated China scope. They do not establish CE, FCC, UL or destination-market acceptance.
How should the alarm path be commissioned?
Test local sound and light, linked activation, network reporting, communication and fault indicators, platform receipt, notification routing and outage behaviour for the final configuration.
